It's easy to confuse cable and harness, but there are still some differences between them. Today, Xiaobian will talk about the differences between them.
          1. Cables and wires are generally composed of three parts: core, insulation wrapping and protective skin. Wires are made up of one or more flexible wires wrapped with a light and soft sheath; cables are made up of one or several insulated wrapped wires, and then wrapped with a tough metal or rubber outer layer.
          2. There is no strict boundary between the two. Usually, products with few cores, small diameter and simple structure are called wires, and those without insulation are called bare wires and others are called cables; those with larger conductor cross-section (greater than 6 square millimeters) are called large wires, while those with smaller cross-section (less than or equal to 6 square millimeters) are called small wires. Insulated wires are also called wiring. Cables generally have more than two layers of insulation, most of which are multi-core junctions.
          Audio line
An electrical signal transmission system consisting of communication cables and their accessories. Communication cable is a bundle of insulated cores or conductors which are twisted together in a certain way. It is enclosed with a sealed sheath, and some of them are covered with an outer sheath. Cable lines can be used to transmit telegrams, telephones, images, data and television programs.
          3. Cable lines are composed of conductors, insulating layers and cladding layers; conductors: single or multiple strands of copper or aluminium for transmission of electric energy, usually multiple strands; insulating layers: insulating conductors and conductors, conductors and cladding layers, insulating materials are rubber, asphalt, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, cotton, linen, silk, oil-impregnated paper, mineral oil, vegetable oil and so on. At present, most of them use oil-impregnated paper. Covering layer: Protecting insulating layer and preventing oil spillover, it can be divided into inner layer and outer layer. The cost of cable line is higher than that of overhead line, but it does not need to erect poles and towers, occupies less land, has reliable power supply, is rarely damaged by external forces, and is safe to people.
